I shot this small story on a greenhouse operation in Leamington, Ontario for a project during my first semester at Loyalist College in October of 2007. It was the first time I actually had to gain access to something. And by access, I mean I had to set up a meeting with the Greenhouses of Ontario union and sit down with the president and the media director and prove to them why I wanted to go inside a greenhouse and shoot pictures. Whatever I said worked. And I spent the next two days at Prism Farms' Greenhouse with my cameras.
Currently a second year photojournalism student at Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario. Books by Kurt Vonnegut; music by Bob Dylan; the New York Mets; and photos by Eugene Richards are all good things.
